A Heart That Couldn’t Forget: All Episodes

The Story

Alexander Carter died in a car accident the day before his wedding, leaving everyone expecting his fiancée to shatter under the grief. She remains perfectly composed. Five years later, he reappears alive at a luxury Manhattan hotel, openly pinning her stepsister, Marjorie, against a chaise longue in the middle of a party. A pile of used condoms on the floor signals their prolonged affair. When he notices her standing alone, he continues thrusting into Marjorie and sneers at her, suggesting she serve as his mistress while Marjorie retains the title of Mrs. Carter. He arrogantly dictates a schedule for their encounters. She smiles and tells him he has mistaken her for someone else. That night of the accident, she received a video revealing the truth. While he and Marjorie spent five carefree years in Europe, she had already married his uncle, the true power behind the Carter family, and they now have a four-year-old daughter.
