The Story

Lin Fanghua wakes up on the day her daughter Serena Sullivan dies, determined to break the cycle. In her previous life, the pregnant Serena froze to death in a truck after catching husband Cole Howard with assistant Riley Hall. Now, Lin uses tracking to race to Bayside City, finding Serena trapped in a refrigerator by Riley's brother Han Chao. She faces Cole, who fears losing a major order, Riley, who sabotages the rescue, and Han Chao, who claims the cargo is a vital organ. Even after Lin reveals her immense wealth, Cole remains suspicious and lets Riley discard the key. Police Captain Zane Jacobs steps in, but Lin offers ten times the compensation and even her own heart to secure the opening. Cole refuses, believing it is a trap. Finally, blood seeps from the container. Cole opens the door to find Serena covered in frost, unconscious, and having lost the baby.
