A Mother’s Wait: Mom, Dad, I'm Back

The Story

Elijah Morton, now Duke of South, returns to his hometown to build a palace and find his long-lost parents. While staying at Lord Gideon Quain's estate, he repeatedly fails to recognize Sabrina Lester, who works there as a servant. When Wyatt Morton attempts to force Sabrina out of her seized home, Elijah intervenes and confirms their bond using a keepsake. Wyatt later kidnaps Elijah to please Gideon, but the lord panics and frees him by revealing his true status. Sabrina and her husband Alfred seek help from Elijah's fiancée, Camille Elwood. Camille's stepfamily frames her for theft, causing her father Larry to force her into marrying Chester Quain. Elijah rescues Camille and punishes the conspirators. At Sabrina's father Paul Lester's seventieth birthday, she presents expensive wine in plain packaging. Her jealous sisters call it fake, leading Paul to disown her. Elijah arrives with officials and lavish gifts, exposing the family's hypocrisy. He leaves with his parents as Paul regrets his cruelty.
