The Story

Eight years ago, Klein vanished while diving, leaving behind a secret that shattered his sister Nix’s life. The grieving survivor takes on five jobs to support Nix, unaware that Klein faked his death to protect their family. Nix begins dating the survivor to test whether she desires them or their wealth. When the survivor attempts to escape this manipulative relationship, Nix coerces her into a final drug trial using orphanage children as leverage. The survivor’s body, already broken by years of overwork, cannot withstand the procedure, leading to a catastrophic physical collapse that exposes the depth of the deception and the true cost of survival.
