After Losing Me, Mom Regretted Everything

The Story

Elena survives a school shooting that kills her twin sister Luna, but her mother blames the survivor instead of mourning the loss. For two years, the girl endures relentless abuse while her parents treat her with cruelty. On her twelfth birthday, she takes her own life. Even after her death, her parents mock her behind closed doors, convinced she is merely faking her tragedy for pity. The truth eventually surfaces, and regret consumes the family.
