The Story

A serious illness plagues Aurora, forcing her mother Evelyn to leave behind and build a medical empire. In her absence, Roger embezzles family assets and brings home his mistress Valerie and their illegitimate daughter Lizzie. Lizzie disguises herself as Aurora to torment the real girl, who suffers public humiliation at a family banquet. Evelyn witnesses the entire betrayal and returns home.
