Awakening of the Ancestral Dragon

The Story

Aria carries a heavy burden in a society that worships pure dragon blood. As a half-breed, she is branded a mongrel and deemed incapable of awakening her draconic heritage. This status marks her as a disgrace to the entire Magus family. Seven years ago, her grandfather Augustus cast her and her mother out when she was only three. Left to survive on their own, her mother eventually succumbed to the elements. She froze, starved, and died of sickness on the streets.
