Back to the Day We Met

The Story

Vivienne Thorne constructs a secret time machine to erase a childhood trauma, unaware that her husband Lucas has been cheating with a woman who resembles her younger self. After ten years of devotion, Vivienne learns the truth about Lucas’s infidelity and his deep-seated wound from losing his mother. On their anniversary night, she activates the untested device to return to the day they first met. Instead of greeting him, she turns away before their paths ever cross, effectively erasing their entire relationship from existence. Lucas is left in a world where he has never known Vivienne, and his desperate quest to find her drives him to chase her across time and space. The woman who built a machine to heal his past now forces him to confront a reality where he is alone, while he scrambles to locate the person who vanished from his life without a trace.
