This fragile happiness shatters when his brazen infidelity surfaces, bringing a cascade of betrayal, cruel insults, and the devastating loss of their child. Iris vanishes without a trace, leaving Benjamin to confront the wreckage he created. He abandons his former life to embark on a desperate path of atonement, sacrificing everything in an attempt to win her back. His efforts remain futile, however, as he ultimately discovers that belated love holds no meaning for a heart that will never return.
