Blood Covenant

The Story

A war defeat shatters Cecil’s fragile position when his lover Rain and the true prince Leon betray him, reducing the fake vampire prince to a slave. Struggling with a congenital heart ailment, he stumbles upon Cain, the human emperor, during a snowy night. A simple, intimate touch from Cain heals his pain, prompting the emperor to shield the former prince. They strike a bargain that saves Cecil from Leon’s schemes. When those plots backfire, Leon loses his rank and falls. Cain dissolves his own engagement to clear the path for Cecil. The fake prince is finally restored to his identity and marries the emperor. Cecil and Cain stay together for good.
