The Story

Jane Wellsy keeps a dangerous secret close to her chest: she is deeply in love with her stepbrother, Nate Duncan. Zach Gates, the notorious bad boy on the university hockey team and Jane's arch-nemesis, uncovers this hidden affection. The situation deteriorates when Nate begins dating Melissa, a former high school bully who tormented Jane. Melissa stumbles upon a passionate story Jane has written, threatening to expose the truth. Zach intervenes to shield Jane from public humiliation, proposing a fake relationship to guard her privacy. As they navigate this fabricated bond, Jane begins to see past Zach's icy exterior. She discovers a gentle, compassionate side in him that stands ready to mend her wounds and stand by her side against the world.
