The Story

Violet Jones Anderson faces a deadly invasion when her husband Sam’s childhood friend Jess moves into their home. Jess poisons Violet’s breakfast and fabricates a terminal cancer diagnosis to isolate the expectant mother. Unaware that Violet is a former forensic toxicologist, Jess underestimates her new houseguest. Violet shifts from passive observation to proactive planning, systematically gathering evidence to expose Jess’s schemes. She also uncovers Jess’s theft of company shares. In a warehouse confrontation, Violet uses an anesthesia gun to subdue Jess, leading to the aggressor’s conviction and life imprisonment. Sam kneels to apologize and offers half of the company’s shares as compensation. Violet safely gives birth to their daughter Rain, bringing happiness to the family of three.
