The Story

Ella wakes in an iron cage, sold by her adoptive parents to a market, until the king intervenes to rescue her. She returns to the palace, where four princes test her limits. She endures their harassment, forcing each one to owe her a favor. Later, her parents betray her again, selling her to rebels who demand she sign a false testimony framing the king. She refuses to comply. The king and the princes learn of the kidnapping and march their entire army to the rebel stronghold to retrieve her. The king removes his seal ring and places it on her hand, adopting her as his goddaughter. At the autumn hunting festival, she walks the red carpet in a gown embroidered with golden lions.
