Canceled Honeymoon

The Story

Claire learns the truth about her marriage when she discovers Julian secretly canceled their honeymoon and favored his childhood friend Bobby. The revelation that their union lacks legal standing shocks her, while business oppression and Julian’s partiality cause a devastating miscarriage. Heartbroken, she departs for London to build a new existence. Julian attempts to win her back, yet he remains stubbornly unrepentant. Claire decisively severs all ties, wishing him a lifelong union with Bobby, who is skilled at feigning illness to elicit sympathy. She eventually finds a worthy partner and lives a stable life. Meanwhile, Julian and Bobby’s marriage is plagued with conflicts, and the cooperation between their two families collapses. They spend the rest of their lives trapped in endless regret, having lost the chance for redemption.
