Collateral Hearts

The Story

Brielle Forbes, a top operative for the Helix Authority, carries a heavy burden shaped by her late father’s death on a mission for the Brown family. This tragedy fuels her deep resentment, driving her to refuse any work involving the Browns before her retirement. Her path unexpectedly crosses with Ethan Brown, the sole heir and grandchild of the powerful family. Ethan navigates the immense pressure of safeguarding their legacy and businesses while facing relentless threats. His suspicion grows as their main rival, the Miller family, falls into an unusual silence following Levi Miller’s takeover. During a mission, Brielle inadvertently saves Ethan, leading her superior to assign her a new task. She must now protect Ethan and identify the mastermind behind the attacks on the Browns. Accepting this duty is a bitter pill for Brielle, who lacks trust in the family she blames for her father’s death.
