She accepts a new fate as the Vampire King's bride. On the wedding day, Lucien lifts the veil only to find Elise standing in Mina's spot. The realization strikes him that Mina was his true love, but the moment is already lost. She is sealed inside the vampire's coffin, vanished from his world forever.
