Marcus Reed, a former football prodigy, suffers a broken body and reputation after refusing to fix matches. Reduced to cleaning stadiums, he catches the eye of heiress Vivian Lane. She recruits him to coach a team of misfits. Applying kung fu principles to his training, Marcus confronts corruption and defeats his enemies. He ultimately reclaims his place at the top of the sport.
