Crowned by My Decree

The Story

Ayla grows up in the shadow of House Thorne, hidden from her true dragon royal lineage. Betrothed since childhood to Lucien, the eldest son, she faces public humiliation when he rejects her on their engagement day. Instead, Lucien proposes to her foster sister Mara, who claims the title of true royal heir. In response to this betrayal, Ayla tears up their contract. She immediately marries Kael, Lucien’s quiet, bastard-born younger brother, who has secretly loved her for years. This swift union shifts the balance of power within the family as Ayla steps into her new role.
