Daddy's Little Matchmaker

The Story

Taffy Vale vanishes from James Carter’s life after a single passionate night, retreating to the secluded sanctuary of Carshire Peak where she raises their daughter, Kayla. Six years later, the quiet existence shatters when Kayla attempts to secure a suitor for her mother, inadvertently guiding James back to their doorstep. The reunion stirs immediate complications as the child addresses the stranger with the word Daddy. This simple address triggers a persistent and unexplainable sense of déjà vu in James, a feeling that lingers despite his lack of memory regarding their past connection. The hidden truth of Taffy’s identity and the daughter she concealed begins to surface, forcing the two to confront the life they left behind and the child who has unknowingly bridged the gap between their separate worlds.
