Daughter of a Goddess

The Story

Hera and her priestess Doloreia give birth to daughters on the same night atop Mount Olympus. Jealousy drives Doloreia to swap the infants, intending to pass her own child off as the royal heir while tormenting Hera’s daughter as a servant. Hera quietly switches the babies back and waits eighteen years for the truth to emerge. Athena is eventually crowned Goddess of Wisdom, but Doloreia falsely claims the young deity as her biological daughter. Zeus erupts in anger at the deception. Hera summons the Three Fates to reveal the reality of the situation. The revelation shatters Doloreia’s lies. She discovers that Hilda, the girl she abused for eighteen years, is actually her own child.
