The Story

Katherine, an ex-FBI negotiator, loses everything after her husband Derek frames her for bribery. She pivots to work as an insurance investigator, where her path crosses with Natalie, Derek’s lover. Natalie survives a staged cliff crash, prompting Katherine to uncover Derek’s stalking and manipulation. She pressures him into a confession, leading to his conviction for manslaughter. Katherine clears her name but chooses to stay and help victims instead of rejoining the Bureau.
