Dear Brother, You Loved Me Too Late

The Story

Angelica carries a burden of guilt for sixteen years after her mother dies during her birth. Her father, Martin, neglects her, while her brother, Christopher, despises her. She holds onto the single instance of affection he ever shows her. The household dynamic shifts when cousin Madison moves in, causing Christopher to turn fully against Angelica. He even wishes she had been the one who died. In a tragic twist, that wish seems to come true when Angelica is diagnosed with cancer. Her subsequent death leaves a void in the family. Following her passing, Christopher's world begins to crumble under the weight of his regret.
