Dear Brother, Your Love Comes Too Late
The Story
Angelica carries a heavy burden of guilt for sixteen years, believing her mother died because of her. Neglected by her father, Martin, and despised by her brother, Christopher, she clings to any shred of warmth he shows. The family dynamic shifts when their cousin Madison moves in, prompting Christopher to wish that Angelica had died instead of their mother. That dark desire seems to come true when Angelica is diagnosed with cancer. Her death marks the end of her suffering, but it also triggers a dramatic collapse in Christopher's world. The family is left in the aftermath of a tragic loss, with the brother confronting the devastating consequences of his long-held resentment and the sudden absence of the sister he once pushed away.
