The Story

FBI agent Ivy Cross faces a shocking discovery when her brother Leo appears on a dark web death auction list. The items for sale are individuals responsible for the Horizon Tower collapse five years ago, a disaster that claimed seventeen lives but yielded only sixteen bodies. The Auctioneer hosts live Bitcoin bidding sessions for executions, directing all proceeds to a trust fund for the victims' families. Ivy's investigation exposes her superior McCallen for accepting bribes to cover up the tragedy. She also learns that Leo serves as the Auctioneer's accomplice. Daniel Wu, a survivor mistakenly pronounced dead, reveals himself as the mastermind behind this five-year plan for reckoning. Following these revelations, Ivy resigns from the FBI. She opens a workers' legal aid center in South Side, shifting her focus toward ensuring every overlooked injury receives proper attention.
