Demons Off Duty

The Story

Lucas runs a quiet care home while hiding his identity as a retired Human Sovereign. He encounters an indestructible deity that treats humans with contempt. Through sheer force, he breaks the god's spirit, reassigning it to sweep floors, guard the gate, and tend the boilers. This domestic transformation of a divine being brings unexpected order to the facility. Lucas handles this bizarre situation with casual ease. While managing these new tasks, he inadvertently saves the world without intending to make a spectacle of the achievement.
