Desire Running Wild
The Story
Seventeen-year-old Noah Sterling arrives at the cramped apartment of Sloane Brookes, a twenty-two-year-old woman struggling to survive on four jobs. She accepts his plea to become his guardian for half his locked trust fund, expecting a temporary arrangement. Instead, Noah moves onto her couch and dismantles her emotional defenses. He is not just a charity case but a football prodigy holding a Harvard offer, while Sloane carries a dark history of blackmail and a mother who died broke. Their suppressed desire erupts into one passionate night, but Sloane panics and ejects him, fearing she will ruin his future. Noah refuses to leave. He rejects Harvard, models for her company, and battles jealous rivals and a ruthless boss. During his senior year’s final game, he catches the winning touchdown and publicly declares his love, asking to stay as her partner. She agrees. However, their happiness remains fragile as secrets from Sloane’s past resurface, threatening her career and their bond.
