Thrud rules Aesir and resurrects stone-bound Alviss, granting him godhood after he offends Zeus. He pledges his loyalty to her. When the wounded Thrud returns, she discovers Alviss with envoy Levia, who wears the queen’s crown and wedding ring. Alviss claims Levia cared for him and earned the title. Levia drops the ring, causing Thrud to snap. She strikes Levia, strips her of the title, and banishes her from the realm.
