Don't Mess with the Fisherman

The Story

Paul, a top-tier crab fisherman, braves the lethal Devil's Tooth reef zone in the Bering Sea to pay medical bills for his ailing parents. Despite surviving near-death encounters, he returns with a premium king crab haul worth two million dollars for his uncle David. David immediately tears up their agreed fifty-fifty split, throws thirty thousand dollars at Paul’s feet, and forces his elderly parents to kneel on the freezing deck as manual laborers. Paul remains silent, crushes the cash, and purchases a broken wooden boat with a non-functioning radar. He sails back into the death sea amid local mockery. Using his instinct for ocean currents and reckless grit, Paul secures record-breaking seafood hauls. David, dragged down by greed, loses all his assets and ends up rummaging through trash bins on Paul’s pier for half-rotted dead fish. Paul’s journey transforms him into the undisputed king of the Bering Sea.
