Don't Miss Me When I'm Gone
The Story
Aunt Sandra welcomes her goddaughter into the Miller home after a devastating loss, creating three years of warmth with the brothers. The girl even imagines marrying one of them until Lola, the maid’s daughter, arrives. This single move shatters the household’s dynamic. The Miller brothers immediately abandon their previous affection for their goddaughter, redirecting all their love toward Lola. They turn their backs on her, leaving her heartbroken and isolated. With nowhere else to go, she packs her things and departs the house. The brothers, who once cast her aside, now panic at her absence. They scramble to locate her, driven by a sudden, desperate need to have her back in their lives after years of shared history.
