The Story
A world that worships heroes and fears mutant beasts has no place for the cast out. Discarded as worthless for lacking hero status, this survivor finds an unexpected path to power. By chance, they gain the ability to control the life and death of the very creatures society dreads. Setting up a supply outpost beyond the protective walls, they begin trading in crystals harvested from the beasts. In this apocalypse, they operate by their own rules and climb to the top. The once revered heroes become irrelevant. Even S rank individuals find themselves working under the command of this new authority. The dynamic shifts completely as the discarded outsider becomes the one everyone answers to.
