Drowning In The Stormy Night
The Story
A violent storm traps an art teacher and her husband in a single shivering tent with the husband’s nineteen year old student. The wind howls against the fabric as the young man inches closer to the terrified woman, exploiting her fear to invade her personal space. Chloe is paralyzed by a mix of shame and guilt that refuses to fade. Even after the rain stops and the group separates, she remains suffocated by the memory of that night, drowning in a sea of endless regret that defines her every subsequent moment.
