The Story

A pale green lantern cuts through the darkness as the protagonist leads his group to a secluded village surrounded by three sheer cliffs and the sea. This natural fortress offers protection from enemies, but danger still lurks in the shadows. He stands watch all night, battling fiends that emerge from the gloom. By sunrise, the ground below the cliffs is piled with the corpses of defeated monsters. Yet the colossal beast that haunted the darkness has vanished without a trace, leaving behind only silence and the unbroken circle of the cliffs. The group remains trapped in their fortified position, unaware of what the empty night truly signifies.
