The Story

Minister of Justice Corvus Blackwood accuses Garrison Vane of treason, triggering a massacre of the Vane Estate by Lord Thorne. Arthur and Elara Vane barely escape into the streets, where Elara memorizes a flower-shaped birthmark on Thorne’s chest to exact revenge.
