The Story

A single mother named Fiona endures years of abuse from her ex-boyfriend Frank’s family before they cast her out on a rainy night. At her lowest point, Joseph, a CEO confined to a wheelchair, steps in to protect her. He marries Fiona and transforms her life by enrolling her daughter Debbie in a prestigious school, hiring a fencing champion as her coach, and establishing a salon for Fiona. Joseph works to restore her shattered confidence while Frank’s relatives continue their harassment. They humiliate Fiona and even kidnap Debbie. The cycle of violence finally breaks at a fencing competition where Joseph rises from his wheelchair and knocks Frank out cold. Debbie wins the championship and Fiona’s salon opens its doors. Security drags Frank away as Joseph kisses Fiona during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. She moves from the factory floor to owning a business and finally accepts that she deserves to be loved.
