Fail Your Way to the Top

The Story

Doris Young spends five years as a silent pushover, enduring workplace bullying and exploitation while secretly dating her boss, Leo Vance. Her world collapses when she discovers Leo is cheating with the same well-connected colleague who stole her half-year project, just before their marriage registration. The devastating shock sends Doris to the hospital, where she awakens the Unemployment Reward System. This strange mechanism grants her rewards for failing at work or getting scolded, though personal attacks disable it. If she gets fired, she receives a ten billion prize. Doris launches a chaotic quest to sabotage her own career, but every attempt to mess up backfires spectacularly. Instead of losing her job, these blunders lead to constant promotions, significant raises, and a new partnership, turning her intended downfall into unexpected professional success.
