The Story

Cassian wakes with the muscle memory of a hunter but none of the memories that made him one. He served the Light Order as its most obedient blade, tasked with terminating the fallen angel Vesper. He recalls the moment his sword touched her throat, yet he cannot explain why his hand trembled or why she answered violence with a smile and a cup of tea. His body retains physical traces of a life his mind has lost, including a scar carved by his own fist and a contract signed three thousand years ago. Now, fragments of a stolen past begin to surface.
