The Story

Stripped of his wings and betrayed, high Seraph Cassiel plummets from the Heavenly Realm into the Abyss, crashing into a dilapidated tavern run by the grumpy demon Wyatt. To shield their establishment from a ruthless demonic Syndicate, the two exploit a magical loophole and seal a fake Soul Pact that binds their lives together. Their forced alliance intensifies into a passionate romance as they battle heavenly executioners and underworld thugs. However, a deadly crisis emerges when Cassiel's recovering holy light begins to burn Wyatt's demon soul to ash. Compelled by a heartbreaking choice, Cassiel abandons Wyatt to protect him, slaughtering his way to the throne to end the war. Absolute power proves meaningless without his mate. In the final act, Cassiel renounces his divine crown and trades his immortal wings for a crude iron ring. He returns to the Abyss to belong to Wyatt forever.
