Falling for My Brother’s Rival Quarterback

The Story

Avery Collins fights to escape the suffocating grip of her brother Logan, who strictly dictates her social circle. A clash at a party brings her back into the orbit of Ryder Hayes, the star quarterback of the Ravens and Logan’s bitter rival. They confess their mutual attraction and begin a public fake relationship to help Avery reclaim her autonomy. Ryder seeks revenge against Logan, though he only reveals that they fell out ten years ago at Northgate. As they exchange rivalries on jerseys and protect each other on the field, real affection blooms. However, cruel rumors label Avery a revenge trophy, and Ryder’s secrets force a painful breakup. Avery later learns from Mason that Ryder accepted full punishment for the old incident, sacrificing three early college acceptances. These public records prove he bore the consequences alone, though they do not confirm Logan’s specific role. Avery rushes to Ryder to admit her error. After they rebuild their trust, she finally confronts Logan directly.
