The Story
Aria’s rise to the National Symphony Orchestra places her directly in the path of principal cellist Isabella, who views her as a persistent obstacle. Every time Aria is framed and cast into the center of a crisis, Julian, the orchestra’s calm and restrained resident conductor, steps in to shield her from the fallout. However, Julian holds a dual role that complicates their dynamic. He is not only her superior but also the man her brother Grayson has expressly forbidden her to approach. As the pressure mounts, their mutual restraint begins to fracture. The more they try to hold back, the more they lose control of their emotions. This escalating tension deepens their bond, drawing them further into a connection that defies the boundaries set by family and professional hierarchy.
