The Story

Isolde Ashford, a disciplined Cambridge professor, loses her composure in an unexpected night with Ophelia Grey. The next morning, she discovers Ophelia is one of her students. Citing a 99.8% pheromone compatibility rate, Isolde dismisses the encounter as a biological error and pushes Ophelia away. Ophelia soon learns she is pregnant, turning their private connection into a campus scandal. Anonymous complaints, plagiarism accusations, and fabricated evidence target both women. A supposed friend secretly manipulates these rumors out of jealousy. Exhausted and heartbroken, Ophelia leaves Cambridge with her unborn child. Isolde realizes too late that her feelings were not caused by biology. She had already fallen for Ophelia before that night.
