Forward, Without Him

The Story

Taylor’s Columbia acceptance letter arrives just as she secretly flies to New York to surprise her boyfriend Ethan and best friend Lexi. Instead of a warm reunion, she overhears a shocking confession. Ethan reveals that he and Lexi secretly altered her application to miss the deadline, ensuring she lost her spot. This manipulation was done to grant Lexi a birthday wish. The two have been dating behind Taylor’s back for a full year. Ethan promises Lexi he will stay with her until fall before returning to his relationship with Taylor. Standing outside holding cupcakes and sunflowers, Taylor realizes her entire life was built on their betrayal.
