Freeze! Runaway Groom!

The Story

Ivy sacrifices her own marriage to save her father’s life, wedding the wealthy heir Byron in place of her stepsister. The celebration turns to humiliation when Byron vanishes on their wedding day. Once the vows are exchanged, the couple establishes strict boundaries and agrees to keep their feelings strictly professional. Time passes under this cold arrangement until Byron finally admits the pact is absurd. He confesses that he has already fallen for Ivy and asks if she loves him in return. The air fills with anticipation as she faces his direct question about her heart.
