Gone Before the Vows

The Story

Scarlett, an elven saintess, rejects romance after witnessing her mother’s tragic end. Carlos eventually wins her trust, and she accepts his proposal. However, she discovers a sinister scheme before the ceremony. She is merely a scapegoat designed to divert a curse, while his true affection lies with Raven, a noble elf. Devastated, she volunteers to guard an ancient seal. Over a seven-day countdown, she repeatedly offers Carlos opportunities to choose her, but he consistently picks Raven. In the final moment, she sacrifices herself to hold the seal. Carlos is left in profound despair, realizing his mistake only after it is far too late.
