The Story

Selene, Goddess of the Frost Moon, discovers her husband, the Sun God, entangled with the Goddess of Seduction. She responds with cold resolution, sealing herself in the uttermost northern abyss for three eras. The Sun God descends into madness and remorse, casting the temptress into the Underworld and surrendering his divinity to become mortal. He waits outside the icy abyss for three eras, worn down by wind and frost until he becomes a withered, dying skeleton. He begs for a single glance from her. When the goddess finally breaks free from the ice, hailed by all gods, she faces the sobbing, remorseful man. She utters a frigid line declaring that it is all in the past. She severs all emotional ties and reigns alone upon her divine throne.
