The Story

Ella Hernandez abandons her winemaking dreams for husband Derek Walker, unaware their marriage masks a scheme to seize her Napa Valley vineyard and secret recipes. When Derek claims her father’s formula on television, she confronts him and discovers that insurance paperwork signed during her pregnancy is actually a deed transfer. A violent struggle in the vines leaves her bleeding in the mud after Derek causes her to miscarry, then evicts her citing mental instability. Broke and stranded in a cheap motel, she catches the attention of Lucien, heir to the prestigious Giraud winery in Burgundy. Lucien remembers the brilliant wine she crafted six years ago under the mark A. With his resources, Ella returns to the Premiere Napa Valley auction with her creation Rebirth, which fetches eight hundred thousand dollars. Despite Derek’s smear campaigns and trademark theft, Ella systematically dismantles him with Lucien’s support.
