He Thought I Wouldn't Leave

The Story

Ryan assumes his wife’s silence masks a desperate need for him, so he slides divorce papers across the table to pursue a younger girl named Lexi. He mocks her to his friends, wagering she will beg to remarry within a month because she cannot live without him. Sophia does not cry or fight back. She signs the documents, exposes his affair, and claims every dollar belonging to her. Then she drives away with another man named Damien Voss, heading straight to Paris. Ryan’s confidence crumbles when he discovers the woman he silenced now stands by Damien’s side. His certainty that she would return in tears proves completely wrong. The moment she walks away, her life transforms entirely.
