He Wanted a Child to Wash Beast Skins, but Got a Royal Workshop Instead

The Story

Grim, a one-legged demon hunter, takes in seven-year-old Enoch on Blackwater Street solely to have the boy wash ghoul skins. The arrangement quickly shifts when Grim discovers Enoch is a sacred rune prodigy. Over three years, the boy secretly carves runes, upgrades hunting crossbows, and transforms the shabby shop into a thriving workshop. Tensions rise when Church inquisitors arrive to seize the vessel and his birth father shows up with a ducal caravan to claim him. Each time, the silver-robed young master steps between his rough foster father and the threats, protecting the family he has built.
