Help! Animals Won’t Stop Talking to Me

The Story

Evelyn Cole stumbles into a world where every creature speaks its truth. Working as a stable hand, she hears the hidden pain of Blaze, a champion racehorse scheduled for euthanasia due to a misdiagnosis. Her quick treatment saves his life and catches the attention of ranch owner Ms. Carter, who hires her as an equine health consultant. Evelyn tackles baffling cases involving depression, insomnia, and stress that standard exams miss. Her unusual methods draw sharp skepticism from veterinarian Dr. Harris, who accuses her of relying on luck. To prove her worth, she earns a veterinary license and solves a complex drug ingestion case involving a border collie in a public competition. She learns that her gift provides clues rather than cures. Evelyn creates mental and behavioral health records to guide other professionals. As her reputation grows, she is invited to treat a snow leopard suffering from anorexia. Driven by a devotion to voiceless animals, she continues exploring the hidden troubles that plague them.
