The Story

Hailey Adams accepts a challenging position as secretary to the notoriously rude CEO Mason Anderson, defying colleagues who bet on her short tenure. Mason constantly criticizes her work until Hailey suffers a breakdown and completely transforms her appearance and attitude. His jealous girlfriend Scarlett frames Hailey for leaking confidential company information. Mason calls the police but learns the truth and breaks up with Scarlett. He apologizes and compensates Hailey for the ordeal. Hailey quits her job but agrees to accompany Mason to visit his ill mother. They grow closer during this time. Back at work, they realize they have developed feelings for each other. Scarlett returns and claims she is pregnant, but they eventually discover the claim is fake. Mason plans a surprise proposal for Hailey with the help of his employees.
