The Story

Reborn before the apocalypse, she flips the script on the neighbors who once begged for help. Instead of turning them away, she flings the door wide open and invites them inside. Her adoptive parents turn deathly pale when they stare at the empty grain sacks. The neighbors tear into each other over stale crusts of bread. It is their turn to taste true despair.
